Our History
Brush Arbor Baptist Church
began its journey in April, 1971. A few families had been meeting together each week when they decided it was time to find a pastor to help them organize a church. The Lord brought Pastor Jerry Creel along, who was at the time, a student at Florida Technological University (now UCF). The group met faithfully in a member’s home as a mission church of The First Baptist Church of Ocoee, where Bro. V.B. Hammons pastored.
A year later,
the Lord blessed and they were able to purchase the property where the church is currently located. A few years later, in 1978, the church organized a school ministry. Over the past 40 years, the church, along with the school, has grown and flourished. Through its many ministries, the church has been able to minister to thousands of people.
We are so thankful
for the many people that are a part of Brush Arbor Baptist Church. Because of their dedication and love for the Lord, our ministries have been able to touch so many lives. Please join us this week so that you may see for yourself what a loving, Christ centered place Brush Arbor really is.
